Biggest pro is they trust you to get the job done and leave you alone and also very good about getting home time scheduled quickly and accurately. My biggest complaint is a lack of understanding how their decisions can impact a driver's schedule and the snail's pace to get even the simplest issues resolved. I usually take home between $1,300 to $1,800 a week. Pay is just okay, and the number of miles are average. ![]() ![]() It makes it difficult to maintain a consistent sleep schedule which I consider the most important part of being safe and productive. If your next load isn't dispatched before the current load is delivered, there is going to be some lengthy wait times. ![]() No overbearing fleet manager is a big plus, but the automated dispatch system is still pretty buggy. Variant is implementing a computer driven automated dispatch system. ![]()
